we all went round to mark and joes new abode and had drinks, rhia also did a brilliant job of cutting both mine and tims hair, i am very happy with it.

the hoover was super noisy though so rhia cleaned it all up manually, trooper

i also tried to take pictures of the moon today, shaky to say the least.

Burial

it was super super hot and sunny today so we went to the beach.

we also buried johnny in the sand, it took a while but it was definitely one of the funniest things i've seen in ages.

then i came home and had a nice BBQ with the family, lovely.

although considerably less dignified and quaint than the post below, i think it captures the moment quite well.

this is tim spilling beer from his mouth, we all went to his house last night for a nice BBQ.

i love how the stream is completely unbroken in this photo, i took as few as it happened and this was the best one in my opinion.

its been lovely and hot today, nice.

Happy birthday mum / 100th post

basically i was going to try and do something amazing for my 100th post but i couldnt think of anything for ages.

so like with most things in life that i find difficult i left it to fix itself.

when people started asking me about why i hadn't posted in ages i got annoyed at myself for being so picky, it's only a number.

so, i thought i'd just do a normal post and mention it rather than try and concoct some grandiose scheme.

obviously charlie got to blow the candles out because he's five and that's what five year olds do best, that and spitting all over the cake at the same time.

in other news me and my friends may have found a house to live in when we go to uni in london, and we almost definitely have a van to drive around in on tour in europe in september.

The UK election

a woman walks towards a local polling station to place her vote in the 2010 elections.

this is the first time ive voted.

i was going to take some photos in the actual polling station room, but it was so awkward and quiet and there was only me and two old ladies sat at a table with bags of sweets.

i took some outside though and this was my favourite.

i dont know why but i really like this picture, i took it today on my way down to 'morereasons' to get lunch.

its not my usual photo; taken in some feeble attempt to make my bland life look the slightest bit interesting, instead it is basic and kind of badly framed.

there's just something i like about it.

it was one of those pictures that you take not thinking anything of it and look back down at the screen and get a nice surprise, i like those kinds of photos.
