the second photo in the series of typically awful student situations, this time me and my house mates tackle the issue of communal bathrooms.

this was a nightmare to set up, but well worth it.

Living together

on saturday me joe, thom, phil and tim moved into our new house in london.

this will be my home for the next year or so as i start university, the house is really nice and living with your friends is awesome.

my student loan should come in today, i hope it does as at the moment i have less than ten pounds to my name.

Europe - Day 8

the final day was spent in tilberg, in the netherlands.

both our bands were part of this festival called incubate, its basically an arty musicy thing thats strewn across all the venues in the city, pretty cool.

we we're on the stage dedicated to heavier music and we had a good crowd.

i think it was probably the sweatiest show ive ever played, i was literally steaming when i came outside after we had finished.

nice.

joe played in a koala mask for the whole set, this was impressive.

Europe - Day 7

day 7 saw the Battle For Paris & run, WALK! tour hit berlin.

the drive wasn't to bad and the venue was ace, it was at this place called white trash fast food.

yes its a fast food place.

but kind of a punk fast food place where you get tattooed whilst waiting for your 'fuck you fries'. no joke.

we played well though and the crowd we're awesome, we sold a lot of merch, got paid and had a hostel for the night, so everyone was happy, tired and happy.

im uploading this first thing in the morning because im moving my whole life up to london tomorrow and i needed to put this post up before i packed my computer.

i will try my damnedest to get the final euro instalment up tomorrow with video, sorry if i fail.

Europe - Day 6

day 6 was hamburg, it started out shit and ended quite well / merrily

when we arrived we were very early so we sat about in the van for most of the day, i think we we're all starting to suffer from some form of van cabin fever.

my cold was in its prime and everyone elses was getting that way.

however, the show turned out to be good, we met some really nice people and sampled the hamburg night-life before sleeping in the 'band flat' (basically two rooms full of bunk beds).

Europe - Day 5

This was the view as we drove into hannover.

the 5th day was our day off, so we hung out in nuremburg for the morning then spent the rest of the day travelling towards hannover.

we had a hostel booked and there was an aldi near by so we stocked up on food, spreadable cheese and underpants.

we found a half rotten cucumber inside one of the draws in the hostel, pure gross.

Europe - Day 4

the next day was nuremburg, our first date in germany.

before we played we we're dubious of how many people would acctually turn up to the show, we shouldn't have been as by the time we we're half way through our set the room was beginning to look well packed with people, this was a surprise but a very nice one.

the next surprise came with the 300 euros we got paid and the awesome hostel room that the promoter had set up for us to stay in for the night.

Europe - Day 3

the show that night was absolutely awesome, probably my favourite of the tour in fact.

we played well, there was a very decent crowd and we met an ace band from belgium called 'casse brique' they we're lovely chaps and acted as our french translators for most of the night.

we got fed lovely food and slept in the upstairs bit of the venue with all the other bands that played that night.

we were also promised ' free beer until you die' so as you can imagine, all was well.

Europe - Day 2

day 2 was filled with french roads, endless amounts of tolls, being embarrassingly english, lucky parking spots, watching people film a music video outside our van, bread, holding other cars up, a show in paris and another night spent sleeping in the van.

Europe - Day 1

last weekend my band Battle For Paris and our friends band run, WALK! set off for a week long tour in europe, it was very very fun.

now that i am home and finally have the internet up and running i can start updating this godforsaken blog.

i will be posting one picture from each day of the tour for the next 8 days.

i know, some consistence on andinmyhandsacamera...
