Christmas 2011

so this is christmas and those are some christmas lights bokeh'd because i cant use the 50mm i got well enough to take good photos yet. 

i actually went to sleep at an okay time last night, so charlie running into my room shouting ITS CHRISTMAS SAAAAMMMMMM! at half past seven in the morning wasnt quite as painful as i had anticipated. 

present opening was good. i got some cool books and a little lego boxer man and the annual abundance of grey clothing amongst other things.

after that me and joe went to dads with granny and grandad. it was nice to have a small lunch at christmas for once with just a few people. good conversations and larfs. 

i also had a whole bowl of custard to myself. merry christmas

so, thats looking pretty full up. 

as you can probably imagine charlies excitment levels have gone through the roof at the sight of all the presents under the tree. we have had to do christmas crackers for the past three dinners in a row just to keep them from spilling over completely. 

i expect i will wake up at a disgustingly early time tomorrow and open some presents and drink some milk to cure the indigestion i will most definitely have. i will also try not to insert any sharp implements under my thumbnail as well. 

i like to talk about that a lot.

i slept for about 13 hours last night / this morning. i havent done that for a while. it felt good but at the same time not seeing daylight is somewhat depressing. 

after that i fought my way around morrisons looking for various food items for dinner. i found none, but i did find the e45 cream that i needed and although on the packaging it says nothing about not eating it, i wouldnt recommend it. 

later on i found dill and forced some reindeer antlers onto her head.

today i woke up (wheyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy) and looked after charlie for about 9 hours and cleaned the house in preparation for mum and jp arriving back from their belgium holidays. what they or indeed i hadnt bargained on, was the extreme amount of faecal based terror that the cat had left on their bed. welcome home. 

later on i slept for about 45 minutes and then deliriously ate some pasta. after that i hung a studio light out of my bedroom window and took some photos of the berries outside in the garden. they look a bit christmassy dont they.

today was mine and joes last full day of looking after charlie. he came into my room about six times last night. luckily joe did the morning shift and i got to sleep in. booya

we went to dads and had hot dogs and chips and played with lego and his old mini steam engine train car thing. it was pretty awesome. 

me and joe have been watching so much total wipeout. quality television.

charlie came back and we made him food and read him stories and assisted in brushing his teeth and put him to bed. 

we had some pizza. 

we have some doughnuts. 

we got some christmas presents. 

i cant think of anything to write. can it be christmas now please?
