World cup

im thinking about doing a whole series of world cup photos, im not even really that into it, i just like how into it everyone else seems to be.

there are a lot of flags about and stuff.

in other news, me and mark had a minor food fight tonight, it was messy

i got rained on heavily whilst walking home.

Towels

we went to my other grandparent's house the other day to have some tea.

i have always wanted to photograph some of the things in their house as not much has changed since my childhood, its just a very nostalgic place for me and i had a lot of awesome times there whilst growing up.

this is the plastic towel rail that has been nailed to the wall in their bathroom ever since i can remember, always ripe with fresh clean towels.

i want to be like them when i grow old.

if you started reading my blog from about march onwards this year then you wont be familiar with the photos above.

the first one used to be the big image at the top of my blog, with andinmyhandsacamera written on it.

i then changed it to the current one in a bid for something more up market and proper.

the newspaper fame got to my head.

anyway, i found the actual prints the other day and came across another shot taken whilst at that bus stop thats been somewhat overlooked, i think i like it better.

BBQ 2

today i slept for ages, probably about 11 hours (from what i can remember) of unbroken sleep.

then i woke up and had a family BBQ for breakfast, cooked by my granddad.

mum, jp and charlie came up as well so that was nice.

Paintball

It was chris' 19th birthday yesterday and to celebrate we all went paint balling.

this is the dress that we put chris in for the final game - it made spotting him a great deal easier and needless to say he got shot to bits.

it was such an awesome day, lovely weather and company.

Architect school

yesterday me, joe, joe, joe, johnny, phil and tim got some food and drove out to a hidden little architectural college in hooke woods.

it was amazing.

they have like a 350 acre forest full of wonderful creations ranging from the bizarre climbing frame bed / living capsule seen above to the more standard big tower look out post things, there were chickens there as well.

we were there for most of the afternoon generally playing on everything and exploring.

i don't know if we we're actually allowed to be there or play on the things, so sorry architect people if your reading this, it was ace though.

then we got some pizza and headed to mark and joes for the evening.

easily the best fun i've had in ages.
