bristol zoo was ace. the kea you see above and the bats were the best bit for me. ive never seen bats so close and theyre big man. like cute and big. one nearly wee'd on a lady as well.
obviously there were the typical red faced, angry crying kids being dragged around by the ankles with half an ice cream stuck in their hair, but once you get past that, it is a really cool place. i debated going into insect world but at the last minute decided against it, in case you didn't know, i really really do not enjoy spiders. we did go into reptile world though and i snapped this cheeky lizard, he came close to being the photo today but i just liked how regal the kea looked.
