woke up too late for uni today, slept some more.

got up to find phil and tim had been listening to jazz and swing pretty much all day. i joined them and played playstation for a bit, then it was time for the weekly shop.

came back and had veggie burgers and lemonade. this time last year i was getting ready for my first ever university interview and i was super nervous; a year later im going to uni and living with some of my best friends in london. whodathunk

woke up late today after having a relatively early night last night. i started reading post office by bukowski as well, its good and makes me want to become an alcoholic postman.

went out last night and didnt get back until quite late, by quite i mean about 5am.

woke up in the pm today but felt good, there was also an awesome sunset going down over se15 so i took this picture of it from our hallway.

later tim and rhia went and bought falafel wraps, they were really really nice.

Libyan march

met up with mum and that again for some lunch, then left to go and take photos of some libyans protesting.

they marched all the way through picadilly circus, it was pretty chaotic. after all that we went and had a mcdonalds, that was good.

Giraffe

today i woke up at 1.30pm and had to be at the guardian HQ at 2.15pm. with a little running and a lot of luck i managed to get there in time for the talk we were having with the picture editor. he was a nice guy and told us that on average they receive about 14,000 images a day. gulp

after that me and joe met up with mum mel, little brother charlie and stepdad jp as theyve come up to visit for two days. we went to dinner at this place called 'giraffe' on southbank, i wondered whether they served actual giraffe, they didnt but it was nice all the same. i took this photo of mum and joe, the lighting was kind of bad but i liked it anyway. mum looks pretty.

uni was dull today and last night i had one of those sleeps where you feel like you havent slept, y'know. weird

got some lunch and went to lauries halls for a bit after lesson. laurie, lauren and some others decided to go take photos of people protesting outside an embassy. i already have photos for my general news assignment though and it was damp and rainy and i didnt have all my camera stuff with me, so i went home and had a power nap. srs business

above is a panoramic view of lauries room. i hope you dont mind it being up here, even if you do i dont care because it took me fucking ages to sort out and still the draws arent properly aligned.
